How it all Started

From Spanner to Spatula

Rob and Dannie worked at a local garage as their first job, becoming friends over their shared love of all things engines. They also liked good food, but the area around them did not have a lot of good options for good take out that was worth their lunch break. So, they decided to start making their own sandwiches to bring to work. It became a friendly competition, each trying to out-do the other. Soon after their coworkers were paying them to make sandwiches for them too. After a few months of this, they realized they had a real opportunity to turn their lunchtime hobby into a business.

Rob took on culinary school while Dannie built up starting funds at the garage. Their first big break was finding a used food truck for sale that just needed a little work. They fixed it up and started selling their sandwiches at local events and outside the garage. The food was a hit, and they quickly built up a loyal following. After a year of doing this, they had enough money to open up their first brick-and-mortar location, which is where Redline Subs was born.

Don't worry, our food is 100% engine grease free! We like to say that we run on carbs, not oil. Rob and Dannie Co-owners gavel
